Ian’s Blog Contest – Prizes Worth $1898 – 2 Free Affiliate Summit Passes

Ian's Blog Contest - 2 Free Affiliate Summit Passes If you are an internet marketer and have never attended an Affiliate Summit, you are missing out! Simply put, Affiliate Summit is the most attended and largest affiliate marketing event of the year. It’s where top affiliate and internet marketers go to learn from one another. More importantly, it’s also a place to make initial contact with business partners and to strengthen existing relationships. If you have attended a previous event, you will know exactly what I am talking about. Here is a fantastic opportunity for any affiliate to receive a free full pass to Affiliate Summit West 2008!

Blog Contest Giving Away 2 Free Affiliate Summit Passes

The next Affiliate Summit is scheduled for February 24-26, 2008 to be held in Las Vegas. A Full Affiliate Summit Pass costs $949 – after Dec 21, 2007, each pass will go up to $1,449. A full pass includes all sessions, breakfasts, lunches, and exhibit hall.

But now as an affiliate, you can simply enter Ian’s Blog Contest for a chance to win 1 of 2 full passes to Affiliate Summit West 2008. These 2 passes are worth a total value of $1898.

As a past speaker of previous Affiliate Summits, I am a little sad that I will not be able to attend the next event. In addition, I also know how hard affiliates work to make their business a success. I vividly remember and absolutely appreciated that my first conference was sponsored by a company from the industry. So, as I am unable to attend this time around, I convinced Shawn Collins, Co-Founder of Affiliate Summit, to give away full passes to help 2 deserving affiliates attend the next Affiliate Summit. It’s as simple as that. How do you enter the blog contest to win a free Affiliate Summit pass? Here are the rules.

Ian’s Blog Contest Rules for a Free Affiliate Summit Pass

1. You have to be a hard working affiliate – if you work 4 hours a week, you do not qualify. 😉
2. Write a post on your blog about what you hope to gain from attending the next Affiliate Summit (either personally or for your business) and link back to this post.
3. Link to this blog’s home page (https://www.ads-links.com) – use appropriate anchor text when doing so. For example, Ian Lee or Internet Marketing Blog would be appropriate.
4. Use the contact form on this blog to send me an email containing:

  • Your Name and Email Address
  • How you heard about this contest
  • At least 1 affiliate website (URL) that you own
  • URL of your blog post from Rule #2

Note – your website(s) will not be shared with anyone else; it is for the purpose of this contest only.

Only genuine affiliate entries will be accepted so do not use someone else’s website or throw up a new domain and think you will qualify for the contest. The website(s) shared will need to be verifiable ie. that you are indeed the owner. A Trackback link must be recorded by this blog post to qualify your entry.

All above criteria must be met or your entry will not qualify for the contest. Contest closes on Dec 21, 2007 at 5PM PST. Entries made after this time will not be eligible. The two winners will be notified by email and announced on this blog.

With a prize value of $949 and a chance to network with some of the industry’s top affiliate and internet marketers, a little extra effort to enter this contest can get you a long way – hopefully all the way to Vegas!

The prizes would surely make a great Christmas gift for any affiliate wanting to attend Affiliate Summit West 2008. So what are you waiting for? Get blogging!

  2. Does it have to be on one of my affiliate sites or can I put it on my personal blog?

Oh, and my goal is to only work 4 hours a week. Do I still qualify? lol

  3. I think it’s interesting how blogging and the internet has made affiliate marketing a whole new thing. It’s a good thing, though. I think it has certainly allowed for affiliate marketing to be a bit more normal and a bit less suspicious like it used to be in the old days – this is because blogging and the internet opens up some transparency (by default.) People know when there’s no transparency. Affiliate marketing works when there’s transparency, and this forces it to remain so.
